COLLISION AWARENESS
Slow down before the gap disappears
The most important information for a vehicle to remember is its registration number.
If you or anyone is involved in a traffic collision, call 911 immediately and report the collision so the appropriate police response can be dispatched.
Do not leave the scene without stopping and providing the required information. Under section 65(1)(a)–(b) of the Vehicles and Road Traffic Act, Cap. 460, failing to stop or report a collision may expose you to arrest and prosecution. Failure to report carries a penalty of up to EC$1,500 on summary conviction under section 65(4).

Crossroads (No Signs or Traffic Lights) – Driving on the Left (Antigua)

Key
Red and blue identify the vehicles in each example. Colour does not decide who has priority; the situation and road position do.
Roundabouts
Give way to traffic already in the roundabout and to traffic approaching from your right. Enter only when safe.
Crossroads
When vehicles arrive together, give way to the vehicle on your right. Give way to traffic already in the crossroads.

ROAD SIGN ATLAS
Read shape before detail
This atlas follows the supplied Antigua & Barbuda Police lesson, Traffic Signs and Signals (Cap. 460), which states that the signs used locally are international. It specifically identifies Stop, Bus Stop, One-way Street, No Right Turn, No Left Turn, School, Hospital, No Entry and Pedestrian Crossing. The additional warning diagrams cover common hazards important for local driving study. Always obey the sign actually displayed on the road. Sign artwork is reproduced from Wikimedia Commons.
